A division of IDEX Corporation, Class1 was looking to streamline their complete information process from the initial customer quote stage through manufacturing. Their previous process involved several manual entry data steps and often the same information was re-keyed in different departments. In addition, a substantial amount of labor was committed to error-checking all of the hand entry data.  Class1 and HarnessIT were able to identify the bottlenecks and today Class1 enjoys an automatic XML driven application developed by HarnessIT. Electronic information is sent from their customer directly into engineering, is mated with production material data, software rule checks are performed and all manufacturing drawings and process steps are generated. In many areas of the process, well over 100% time savings has been realized.

A leading supplier of 3-D modeling software with well over 300,000 users, a large computer aided design (CAD) company was in need of a software application for a niche segment of their customer base. Internal development of this niche product was not in the scope at that time. HarnessIT was able to quickly develop a prototype of the application -- a graphical CAD tool that stored and analyzed a large amount of detailed engineering information -- and then deliver a mainstream solution for their toolset. Today this solution is part of the company's primary software package.
